Course description
This Fellowship program, in partnership with Medtronic, is designed for pain physicians who are interested in accelerating their learning of Spinal Cord Stimulation for chronic pain management. This program combines theoretical learning and hands-on experience with a blended learning format.
Target audience
Neurosurgeons and Anesthesiologists specializing in chronic pain management seeking comprehensive knowledge and practical skills in neurostimulation techniques for pain relief, who are or will be soon implanting independently.
Learning objectives
- Equip participants with extensive knowledge and hands-on expertise encompassing the spectrum of neurostimulation techniques utilized in chronic pain management.
- Cover a wide array of topics, ranging from patient selection strategies to long-term follow-up protocols, emphasizing multidisciplinary approaches to pain management and practical application of implant techniques.
- Foster participants' confidence and competence in independently performing SCS implant procedures through a structured 1.5-year curriculum led by esteemed European experts in pain management and SCS.
