Head of Functional Neurosurgical Department and associate professor of Medical School of Semmelweis University and Pázmány Péter Catholic University, Faculty of Information Technology. Neurosurgeon, neurologist, interventional pain management specialist. Performs yearly around 300 functional and general neurosurgical procedures. His practice covers almost all aspects of functional neurosurgery including: epilepsy surgery (resective, implantation of intracranial electrodes, VNS and DBS), minimal invasive and neurosurgical pain management, spasticity, DBS for movement disorders, micro vascular decompression. Participates actively in the training of graduate and postgraduate students. Participates and regular speaker of national and international conferences. He introduced several neuromodulation therapies to Hungary (MCS, VNS, peripheral nerve stimulation). Founder of the Neuromodulation Center of Excellence in Budapest.
