Former resident of Paris hospitals and registrar, he is senior lecturer (Paris VI “Pierre et Marie Curie” Medical Faculty) and hospital surgeon since 2001. Holding a doctorate of science, he has quickly asked by his supervisors Prof. Christian Chatelain and François Richard to manage the clinical activities and researches on micturation troubles and more specifically urinary incontinence and neuro-urology. Thus he is in charge of multidisciplinary consultations in urinary incontinence and neuro-urology from various Paris suburb re-education centres and in particular from Prof. Pierre Denys’s unit (department of Prof. Azouvi, successor of Prof. B. Bussel) from Raymond Poincaré Hospital in Garches, France. He is member of the International Continence Society (ICS), of the International Spinal Cord Society (ISCOS) and participates to the annual activities of the European Society of Neuro-Urology of EAU. His clinical research activities led him to work in particular on urethral endoprosthesis, sacral Neuromodulation, botulinum toxin and non surgical BPH treatments. The development of the surgical expertise in neuro-urology in his practice put him in the heart of the young urologist team training in neuro-urology.
